Claire Webber-Powell: People Director, Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd
Claire is an accomplished People Director with extensive experience in leading HR teams across a wide range of functions, including internal communications, learning and development (L&D), employee relations (ER), and operations. She is known for delivering pragmatic, solution-oriented strategies that drive organisational success. Claire’s career spans multiple industries and geographies, including the UK, US, and Australia. Since April 2020, she has served as People Director at Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd (O&CC), where she leads HR initiatives for several iconic brands, including Cotswold Outdoors, Runners Need, and Snow + Rock.
Before joining O&CC, Claire was Head of HR at Lovehoney from 2017 to 2020, where she played a key role in supporting the company’s rapid expansion, contributing to its receipt of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise. At The Co-operative Legal Services (2014-2016), she led the people strategy through a period of significant transformation. Claire’s earlier roles include positions at Nutricia (2010-2012), Bidfood UK (2009-2010), and Sodexo (2016-2017), where she designed and implemented impactful organisational development programs and led strategic HR initiatives.
In addition to her corporate roles, Claire ran a successful consulting business from 2012 to 2016, advising major organisations such as Cisco, British Airways, and Allianz. She provided tailored services in leadership development, change management, and training, helping clients navigate complex people challenges and organisational transformations.
Claire’s career is defined by a passion for creating high-performance cultures, improving employee engagement, and aligning HR strategies with business goals. She is particularly dedicated to ensuring that systems and processes work seamlessly for all users, driving efficiency and effective outcomes across organisations. Kameshwari Rao: Chief People Officer, Publicis Sapient
Kameshwari Rao is the Chief People Officer at digital transformation company, Publicis Sapient and leads the People Success function (Human Resources) globally – Publicis Sapient employs over 20,000 people across the world. In her C-Suite position, Kameshwari is part of the company’s executive leadership team and is in charge of creating the strategic direction for the company’s global people agenda.
Since joining Publicis Sapient in 2001, Kams has made a significant contribution in creating a work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as building a distinct culture that prioritizes people’s mental health and happiness. She is also passionate about corporate social responsibility.
Prior to her role at Publicis Sapient, Kameshwari was a finance professional and was instrumental in bringing the first VC funding in India for a tech start up in the early 2000s. She later made the shift from finance to HR.
